| The swim
program cater to individuals at all level of fitness. The program is
perfect for triathlon and distance swimmers. The training groups are
arranged by swimmers levels typically maintenance, comp, pro and race.
Most athletes regardless of their fitness level will move between
groups as they prepare for racing and recover from races or injury.
The Tri programs train together on
Sunday mornings at IVC Pool in Marin for coached swim drills. These
drills are designed to increase a swimmers speed and overall
performance. Open water swims take place at Aquatic Park in SF on a
informal schedule, typically Wednesday nights, Tuesday Mornings and
Friday's (morning/evenings). The open water swim schedule is flexible to help accommodate team members
work schedules. The open water swim always has an experienced swimmer in
the group for safety and that swimmer works with new members to get them
accustom to the open water environment.
All swim training is supervised by
either swim coaches who help with technique or swim captains who swim in
the groups and provide encouragement, support , safety and one on one
advice during the swims. |
