TRI-4-MS Bike Information

With our training partner PacWest Athletics of San Francisco we provide coached rides and trainer workouts. The program is run by USA Cycling licensed coaches from PacWest and mentoring supplied by both Tri4MS team members and PacWest team members.
 
 

Cycling Program

The bike program cater to individuals at all level of fitness. The program is perfect for triathlon and distance bikers. The training groups are arranged by bikers levels typically maintenance, comp, pro and race. Most athletes regardless of their fitness level will move between groups as they prepare for racing and recover from races or injury.

The Bike and Tri programs train together on Saturdays for long rides and Tuesday nights in SF for coached trainer work. The trainer workouts are designed to increase a bikers speed and overall performance. The training schedule is typically 90 minutes on Tuesday nights. The weekly rides take place from the city into Marin on Saturdays mornings and distances range from 25 to 100 miles.

Tri-4-MS is also affiliated with PacWest Athletics and under an agreement with PacWest  training and coaching services will be provided to Tri-4-MS volunteers.

Pricing

As our training partner PacWest supplies all TRI-4-MS volunteers with training to help prepare you for your event. Typically most people will develop their athletic confidence within two months. PacWest has agreed to provide three months of training to volunteers after which you can decide to train on your own/ with your mentoring group / continue with PacWest at a minimal cost until your event ($25/month)
